Meet

Whittney Brownfield

Whittney graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology in December of 2023. Whittney officially joined the team in February of 2024 after completing a clinical externship rotation at Speech Pathway in the summer of 2023. She also currently works in the school system with elementary school students. Her specific areas of interest include early childhood intervention, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and school age speech and language disorders. Her favorite part about being an SLP is being able to teach her clients and their parents how to advocate for themselves. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and being outdoors.

Amazing Staff. Wonderful Families. One Goal.

Caregivers’ Roles During the Evaluation

Caregivers are asked to be present throughout the evaluation, including standardized testing.  However, you may be asked to sit outside your child’s field of vision during testing.  If you feel your child may do better if you are not present, there are two-way mirrors to allow you to view your child at all times.

Policies and Procedures

We ask families to please familiarize themselves with our policies and procedures prior to evaluation day.
