Who to expect
Before your evaluation, we recommend you head over to our team page to introduce your child to their clinician and talk about the things in their bio.
What to expect
We recommend you show your child our clinic social story! It can help ease the feelings that go along with entering a new space and seeing a new face.
What WE do
When you arrive, please text your clinician and they will come out to the car and get you and your child. If you need to use the restroom, feel free to come inside and the front desk will direct you!
What YOU do
We prefer that you join your child for their evaluation, however we recommend that your child get the opportunity to participate without unnecessary distraction. We love meeting siblings, but children are typically most successful having the room to themselves. So, if siblings must be present, it may be best for your child to attend the evaluation with the clinician on their own, while you wait in the car with siblings.
