Kathryn Blaney

Meet Your Clinician

Kathryn Blaney graduated from Rockhurst University with a Masters of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2012. She joined the Speech Pathway family back in 2014, and currently also works within the school system and in adult home health. She loves all aspects of the field of speech pathology, however, her specific areas of interest at Speech Pathway include one to three year old children in the areas of communication and language development. She LOVES spending her time here at Speech Pathway but outside of the clinic setting, she enjoys spending time exercising, traveling, and listening to audiobooks.

Caregivers’ Roles During the Evaluation

Caregivers are asked to be present throughout the evaluation, including standardized testing. However, you may be asked to sit outside your child’s field of vision during testing. If you feel your child may do better if you are not present, there are two-way mirrors to allow you to view your child at all times.
