Meet your SLP
Alyssa Davis
Alyssa earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2026. She officially joined the Speech Pathway team after completing a clinical rotation with us. Alyssa loves being a SLP because no two days are ever the same, and she enjoys building meaningful relationships with children and their families as communication skills grow over time. Her favorite part of therapy is helping children communicate in ways that feel functional and authentic to them. Outside of the clinic, Alyssa enjoys working out, going to Pilates classes, reading, traveling, and cheering on the OKC Thunder!

Preparing for Evaluation Day

Caregivers’ Roles During the Evaluation
Caregivers are asked to be present throughout the evaluation, including standardized testing. However, you may be asked to sit outside your child’s field of vision during testing. If you feel your child may do better if you are not present, there are two-way mirrors to allow you to view your child at all times.
