Gemma Jekel
Gemma joined the Speech Pathway family in January 2021 as the clinic’s benefits specialist. She loves to see all the smiles and accomplishments of her Speech Pathway friends and helping families to understand and use their insurance policies. Outside of work she loves watching her son, Dillon, play baseball and watching cooking shows with her husband, Daniel. She also enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and everything Harry Potter.

Caregivers’ Roles During the Evaluation
Caregivers are asked to be present throughout the evaluation, including standardized testing. However, you may be asked to sit outside your child’s field of vision during testing. If you feel your child may do better if you are not present, there are two-way mirrors to allow you to view your child at all times.
